What is Magic-9?
================
The Magic-9 program is a lottery ticket combination planner. It
assists the lottery player by providing a good coverage of nine numbers.
The program is for use in selecting combinations to be played six numbers
at a time. To play the recommended ticket combinations would require an
investment of only $6.00 based on $1.00 per ticket [as opposed to $84 for
a "Full Cover" Permutation].
As long as three of the nine numbers that you play are drawn in the Lottery
you are almost certain to win. In fact, there are only six three-number
-combinations that will not win for you.
How to Choose the Numbers
=========================
Lotteries are based on random numbers. To choose your nine numbers
either take your favourite nine numbers that you usually play or
try the following trick.
Look up your name in the telephone directory. Find the last two
digits of your phone number. If they are in the valid range of
numbers for your lottery then write them down. If not look down
at the next telephone number. Continue looking down at the following
numbers and writing them down until you have your nine numbers.
If you are starting near the end of the phone directory then continue
on with the numbers at the beginning of the book.
When you have selected your nine numbers enter them into Magic-9.
By utilizing this method of selecting your 9 numbers you will ensure that
the numbers you play are almost "unique to you" the prospects for anyone
else playing the same numbers being somewhat slim [to say the least].
This should ensure that if you do "Hit the Jackpot" the only person you
will have to share it with will be "the wife" [and your relatives, when
they get to know <g>].
I have used this "Wheeling" system for 8 years and, although the Jackpot
has eluded me so far, I have registered several decent wins. In all the
time that I have played "Magic-9" I have never seen a better wheel [but *I*
would say that, as the "father" of it, wouldn't I].
I wish you Good Luck, [Yes, you'll still need that, even after you
Register!]. I hope that when you do hit a Big One you will let me know
about it, or at least, when your interviewed on TV give the credit that
it deserves to "Magic-9".
To Use Magic-9
==============
To run the program type MAGIC9 followed by pressing the return key.
To enter numbers type the number you want in the block that has the cursor
it. MAGIC9 will not let you enter a number outside of the range 1-49
and will not let you enter the same number twice. Lotto numbers 10-49
do not require you to use the return key to enter them but numbers 1-9
do.
Registration.
=============
If you use "Magic-9" for more than 30 days you are required to register the
program for $20 (or £10). If you use Magic-9 and hit the Jackpot in less
than thirty days a contribution would be appreciated!
Registration will ease your conscience and will certainly not hurt your
luck. (You do all know how superstitious and lucky the Chinese are don't
you? In that culture it is not uncommon to return some of your winnings
to people that help you in the process of winning.)

The "Magic" system was developed by Bob Norburn based on the "Lit Plan"
type systems used in the United Kingdom to forecast the results of Soccer
Matches on the "Treble Chance". Over the years Several Millions of £s have
been won utilizing "Lit Plans" [selective coverage permutations].
David Skene is the author of Magic-9. The Software was written to Bob's
specifications by David Skene, without whose help in generating "Magic-9"
the program and principle would not have reached you.
